From April 29 to May 1, we had continuous improvement professionals gather in Austin, Texas, for our 9th annual user conference, KaiNexicon 2025. Across three days of keynotes, customer presentations, product deep dives, networking, and celebration, we saw just how impactful the KaiNexus community can be when united by a shared commitment to continuous improvement.

In a time of economic uncertainty, organizations everywhere are being asked to do more with less. That’s why efficiency became our rallying theme for 2025: how to bring efficiency not just in operations but also in how we think, lead, collaborate, and scale improvement work.
Held at the scenic Hyatt Regency on Lady Bird Lake in Austin, the conference welcomed attendees from a wide range of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, food, and finance. Some were first-time users, others seasoned KaiNexus champions, but everyone shared a drive to find better ways of working and a belief that improvement is a necessity.
One of the coolest parts of KaiNexicon is hearing directly from customers on how they use KaiNexus to drive real, meaningful change across their organizations.
This year’s customer presentations showcased a wide range of innovation: from scaling CI programs across dozens of sites, to driving measurable gains in safety and quality, to building stronger engagement and alignment across teams. Some were brand-new users sharing their first-year impact; others have been with us for years and continue to evolve and inspire.
What stood out wasn’t just the variety of industries or use cases — it was the pride. Watching customers use KaiNexus to highlight their teams' hard work and outcomes is a reminder that what we do together matters. When continuous improvement is amplified by the right tools and a strong culture, the results speak for themselves.
As a software company, product innovation is a huge part of who we are, and KaiNexicon is our chance to put that front and center. From the main stage, our product team walked through the most impactful features and enhancements rolled out over the past year, showing how KaiNexus continues to evolve alongside the needs of our customers. Attendees also got a first look at what's next with an exclusive preview of the KaiNexus product roadmap.
On top of that, we hosted our KaiNexpert Fair. This interactive session featured dedicated stations where attendees could explore specific capabilities up close, ask questions, and pick up tips to improve their usage. Topics ranged from Smart Templates and Workflow Automation to the Monthly Report Summary Email, with plenty of “I didn’t know it could do that!” moments throughout the day.
One of the biggest perks of KaiNexicon is learning directly from your peers. That's why we bring SpeedNexus back every year. What is SpeedNexus? Picture speed dating meets mini software demos. It’s a high-energy, fast-paced session where attendees rotate through quick conversations, swapping ideas, and showcasing how they’re using KaiNexus in their organizations.
We saw everything from custom boards designed to engage executives, to creative ways teams are running tiered huddles directly from the platform. The ideas were endless.
Attendees left the session feeling inspired (and yes, a little exhausted 😅) with actionable ideas that they can take back to their organization.
Of course, no KaiNexicon is complete without our coveted Nexie Award Ceremony. To explore a little more of what Austin has to offer, we gathered attendees at Electric Shuffle on the city's iconic Rainey Street for an evening of networking, shuffleboard, and celebration. It was the perfect atmosphere to unwind, connect with fellow improvement leaders, and keep the momentum of the day going. We ended the night with the 2025 Nexie Awards, honoring the individuals and organizations doing truly exceptional work with KaiNexus.
