Happy Holidays everyone! Seeing as it’s the most wonderful time of the year, we are in season for gifting you with a shiny new release, 2.3.1! Check out our Support Page for the full release notes.

Take a look at some of the highlights:

Board Filters

We know that a majority of the time spent in KaiNexus is spent overseeing everything that’s been laid out on various Boards within the system. Due to this, we want to maximize your efficiency when it comes to interacting with the cards on a Board. The new Board filters allows you to overlay a filter to an entire Board, making it easier to precisely filter your Boards without having to add the same filters to every Card. The filters you set will apply across every item-based Card on a Board. Once you have the Board filter enabled, it’s filtering criteria can be set up and easily changed for board-wide modifications.

Shared Data Series

Improving our Chart functionalities has been a big goal for us this year. From turning Charts into their own workflow type to being able to annotate specific data points, the capabilities of Charts have been expanding throughout this past year. Now we provide a way for a chart to pull data from different data series of multiple charts and view it on a single chart in KaiNexus. Shared data series helps streamline data collection and processing by allowing you to reference and compare metrics from different Locations and roll that data up to the executive level. This allows for increased visibility and simplified collaboration while maintaining data integrity.

Planned Item Dependencies

We’ve added further enhancements to the Dependencies option when planning an item in KaiNexus. Prior to this release, items that were dependent on another item would become active immediately after the completion of the preceding item. Now, you can plan items so they activate immediately after, some days before or some days after the start date or completion date of another item.

User Cycle Time Reports

A new type of reporting called User Cycle Time lets you see the amount of time it takes each user’s Improvements and Projects to move through each status.

Custom Placeholder Text in Fields

Customize the ghost/placeholder text that appears on fields within a template before you begin to populate those fields. Help your users with their problem-solving tools by providing them with further context.

Reach out to your Customer Experience Lead to take advantage of this feature.

All these new enhancements are LIVE in your very own KaiNexus! Don’t forget to check out the KaiNexus Showroom for more context and examples on how to use these new features!

Happy Holidays from all of us here at KaiNexus!
