Every organization running on KaiNexus is building a record of how improvement actually happens, in Items, comment threads, resolutions, and metrics. It is the most accurate account of the work anywhere in the business, and its value depends on how quickly someone can use it to make a decision.
KaiNexus Insights, the first capability we released under KaiNexus Intelligence, was our first step in shortening that distance. Insights delivers summaries, analysis, and coaching directly on the Items, Item Lists, and Notifications your teams use every day. Smart Create, Checkpoints, and Nudges now bring that same guidance into the workflow itself, at three moments you can plan around: when an Item is created, as it moves toward completion, and when it meets conditions you have set.
All three are available now, released with KaiNexus 3.3.4 on Saturday, August 22nd.
Smart Create is a new option in the Create menu. Describe an idea, issue, request, or finding in plain language, or even attach a photo or supporting file. KaiNexus then recommends the Template that fits and opens a draft Item with as much detail filled in as possible. Simply describing what happened is enough to get started. You remain in control; You review and edit the draft before the Item is created.
Checkpoints review an Item at the workflow moments you choose: submitting an Item, submitting a Resolution, or completing an Item. The review checks against the standards you define and offers guidance before the status change proceeds. In practice, this means a thin root cause or an incomplete A3 gets attention while the work is still open and the team still has the details in hand.
You also decide how much weight that guidance carries. A Checkpoint can offer advisory guidance that a user can move past, or it can pause the action and require a review before the work continues. Again, you remain in control, matching the level of rigor to the process it governs.
A Nudge lets a Custom Insight flag an Item on its own. You describe the condition in plain language and write the message you want shown. When someone opens an Item that meets that condition, a dismissible flag appears with the option to review the full Insight. The expertise you built into that Insight reaches the person working the Item at the moment it applies.
Nudges are advisory and never block a workflow action, and a dismissed Nudge stays dismissed for that Item until the condition is met again. Nudge evaluation follows the viewing user's permissions, so a Nudge never surfaces anything a user could not already see.
The guidance KaiNexus Intelligence uses comes from your own record. These capabilities draw on your live KaiNexus data and follow the permissions you have already configured, so each user sees only what their role allows. What your teams see reflects the way your organization improves.
