KaiNexus Intelligence is moving out of beta with 4.0, bringing AI-powered support to every organization. New Recaps will help you catch up on activity and consider next steps, while other enhancements make it easier to contribute and follow through.
KaiNexus' 4.0 release is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2026.
Here are some of our favorite new features and enhancements from this release:
KaiNexus Intelligence will be available to every organization, with feature access based on your tier and configuration. A dedicated AI Admin permission lets you delegate administration without granting full System Admin access, while AI Credit reporting helps you check your remaining allowance before the next reset.
New Recaps will summarize recent Activity Feed and Notification activity in personalized emails, with optional recommended next steps. You can use that context to decide which Items need attention or prepare for coaching conversations with your team.
Stock Recaps will be available across KaiNexus Intelligence tiers, with recipient limits based on your plan. Premium will let administrators customize Recaps or create their own.
With updated Fishbone Diagrams, you'll be able to create new Items as well as convert a text cause into a nested Item directly from the Fishbone, keeping follow-up work connected to your analysis. Users who can edit the Item will be able to vote on and highlight causes to help choose what to investigate, while Item Status indicators and the Diagram’s Auto Refresh behavior will help your team see progress and collaborators' changes.
Attributes and Assessment Fields will support horizontal or vertical button layouts. This makes the values easier to see and select, especially when entering information on mobile.
API Manager and Card Manager permissions for your Location or Location & Below will be designated for Basic licenses, allowing you to assign those responsibilities without requiring a higher license type.
A new Archive System Role permission will let administrators control who can archive and unarchive Items. Users will still need permission to view and edit the Item.
