My Darling Customers,
I wrote a list of things I love about you.
You believe what we believe
KaiNexus was founded on the belief that every person wants to - and is able to - improve. Given the opportunity, everyone has the power to enact positive changes in their workplace. Our mission is to give people that opportunity, and to connect everyone so that they can learn and improve together.
For some of the people we meet, that mission seems trivial. These people simply don’t share our vision of a world where everyone is empowered to make change that matters, and organizations strive to be their very best. But you, my dear customers, get it. You always have - that’s why you joined our family. We’re so happy to have found a community of people who share our values. It’s what makes our jobs worth doing.
You help us be our best selves
The love we share is symbiotic. Sure, we provide you with the software you need for your continuous improvement efforts to succeed… but you provide us with the feedback we need for our software to succeed. Our product isn’t stagnant; it’s an ever-changing, ever-improving platform that grows and develops as you grow and develop. You take the time to meet with Greg Jacobson, our Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer, on a monthly basis to tell him about how you use KaiNexus. You share what you love, and you share what you don’t. You tell us your goals and aspiration, and your ideas for how we can help you achieve them.
A majority of the features we develop are the direct result of your feedback. We have an awesome platform, but it only got that way because of you. Thank you for helping us become our best selves.
You support each other, too (even if you don’t know it)
You help each other become your best selves, too, though I doubt you think of that often. The effects of the improvements we implement at your request resonate throughout all our entire customer community - so really, as you help us, you’re helping each other. One of the benefits of using KaiNexus is that we’re able to anticipate your changing business needs, rather than responding retroactively. How do we do that? Because with our wide, diverse customer community, we get to learn from the experience of ALL of the organizations - not just yours. A community has so much more knowledge than an individual, and our vantage point in the middle of it all allows us to develop features to meet the needs you don’t yet know you have. That community is our most valuable resource… and for that, we are eternally grateful.
You care more about being better than being richer
Some people implement continuous improvement in their organizations because they’re penny pinchers who only care about improving the bottom line. Not you, my dear friends. Your vision, like ours, includes improving the quality of your products and services, improving the safety of your staff, customers, and patients, and improving the satisfaction of everyone involved with the organization. We admire that about you. Sure, you try to increase efficiency, reduce waste, save money, and increase revenue - but not a single one of you is driven solely by financial gain. You’re in the improvement game to be better, not to be richer. We love that about you.
You improve the lives of your employees
I firmly believe that every person has a fundamental right to enjoy their job. How do you do that, even with the most menial of jobs? You allow them to improve the work they do. You share your vision with them. You share your goals and your dreams, and let every person, at every level of the organization, be a part of that mission. You listen to their opinions because you know that even though you may have the fancier title, they know more than you about some things. You respect their time, and respond to their ideas promptly and with true consideration. You all are doing your part to improve the lives of every person that works with you. To me, this is your most meaningful work of all. I’m so proud to work for a company that empowers you to do this for your staff.
That’s all for now, my dear ones. Keep up the great work - your mission is so important.
Love Always,
Maggie Millard
