April showers bring May flowers... and new enhancements! Our latest release introduces over 45 enhancements, including updates to the Item section, the new Formatting Toolbar, and the drag and drop capability on Kanban View. Here are some highlights of our 3.0.3 release, scheduled to be released on Friday, May 6th, 2022:
Enhancements to Item Section
This release brought multiple new enhancements to the Item Section. The behavior of editing and saving Lists has been updated to be more intuitive - check out our new AutoSave feature! Additionally, you can now edit a List name by clicking on a List's title in the Items section and re-naming the list that way. Also, you can now right-click on the List to reveal the new Pin, Edit, and Delete options.
Introducing the Formatting Toolbar
Introducing the Formatting Toolbar! You now have formatting options on Text Areas, Comments, Freestyle Cards, and Login Notices. Additionally, this will make adding links, tables, and resizing pictures much easier.
Increased Accessibility with Card Updates
We work hard to increase accessibility throughout the platform with each new release. This includes increasing the real estate on your screen to improve your experience while working in KaiNexus. Now with Release 3.0.3, you can define different view types for Card View vs. Expanded View. Expanded View offers much more real estate to work with, so different view types can be more meaningful. Additionally, you now have the ability to hide the Header of a Card by enabling "Hide Header" in the Card options. This helps to avoid clutter on a Board and to display only the information that matters most.
Drag and Drop on Kanban View
With the proper permissions, you can now drag and drop items between status columns on any Kanban View! This will allow you to easily update the status on any item - so you don't have to open an Item to change the status.
User Search Feature
With our new User Search feature, finding and assigning team members has never been easier! When assigning a role on a team, users now have the ability to use a subset of quick filters, and the people filter to find the right person. Previously, you had to know who you were assigning and type out their name. Now, the User Search feature allows you to search for a person to fill a team role based on Location, Title, Role, Credentials, etc., and choose from a List of Users that fit that criteria.
