At KaiNexus, we believe a strategic implementation process is vital to a new customer's success. Collaborating closely with us throughout implementation will help create a more functional, personalized experience for the different kinds of users in your system. Time and time again, we've seen our partnerships result in high adoption rates by decreasing the barrier to entry for different end-users.

Keep reading and learn what the five best practices of a successful KaiNexus implementation are, and how you can follow them to set yourself up for success:

1. Proper Time and Resource Allocation - Your implementation process takes time and resources on both sides. We will need you and your team to spend time outside our meetings to ensure we can keep your implementation timeline on track. Your rollout of KaiNexus will be as successful as the time and attention your Implementation Team commits to it. It is crucial that you deliver the resources requested by our team to make sure we can build your system out in a holistic view. Your partnership - delivery of contextualizing resources, prompt communication, and completion of assigned tasks - enables a complete and successful deployment of KaiNexus.

2. Clear and Defined Processes - We can coach best practices regarding the use of our technology within your existing improvement processes, but ultimately you define how those processes should work and develop the strategy for spreading them from top to bottom in your organization. At KaiNexus, we always encourage our customers to establish processes and engage leadership to create a continuous improvement culture. While technology is often the missing link in a failed attempt to spread a culture of continuous improvement, you must establish the processes and engage your Executives for everything to work in harmony. We rely on your organization to champion your CI Culture, so our team can effectively translate it into your platform.

3. Keep it Simple - One of our favorite things about KaiNexus is its configurability. While we know future state ideas for your CI Culture may be fun to explore in the system, adhering to the originally scoped processes is important. A lot of time and thought goes into designing a new workflow, and we have found that trying to "boil the ocean" during a software deployment tends to overwhelm and deter end users. To help Users build a habit of using KaiNexus, keeping your configuration simple is essential. Once your team establishes the habit of using KaiNexus as expected, your CSM will help you revisit those exciting future-state ideas and make them a reality.

4. Stick with your Implementation Plan - There is no truer statement than when we say, "trust the process." Sometimes it's hard to see the bigger picture when working on smaller subsections of your implementation, and you want to skip or jump steps to get closer to launch. However, skipping sessions or steps will lead to delays in your implementation. Each step throughout the implementation process helps to build your organization into the best tool we can. We know that implementing a new software like KaiNexus can cause a steep learning curve, so we intentionally teach smaller concepts to build up to bigger concepts in the system. Trust us, by following our step-by-step plan, this will lead to a more successful launch.

5. Small Implementation Team - We've all heard the phrase 'too many cooks in the kitchen,' and we find this particularly true with implementations at KaiNexus. From experience, we find that in-depth conversations and decision-making happen smoothly with 1-3 participants from your organization on the Immediate Implementation team -- your future KaiNexus Champions! It would be best if you still got feedback from smaller groups of Users that will be interacting with KaiNexus - appropriate feedback loops are important. Still, it is essential to limit work session participants. If you need our guidance on who the 1-3 people should be, reach out to the Implementation Team before your Work Sessions begin!

In conclusion, a successful implementation process will be vital to your ultimate success with the platform.
