My name is Kathryn Abbott and I’m a Customer Success Manager at KaiNexus. I was born and raised in Texas but enjoy traveling all around the world. I have been a Customer Success Manager for the last five years, but the industry I came from is very different from the world of Continuous Improvement. For the last ten years of my career, I have worked in the telecommunications world, and I joined KaiNexus because I was looking for a place within technology that wanted more for its customers than just selling a product.

After going through seven interviews, I knew KaiNexus must practice what they preach as each person I interviewed with shared how they were constantly looking to better themselves, learn, and help each other. Additionally, it was clear to me from the beginning that KaiNexus genuinely cares about partnering with their customers to make a difference and achieve each customer’s goals. They shared stories about how they spoke with customers, asked them what they were looking for, and then made plans on how to go about accomplishing that. They spoke about how they pulled in multiple departments within KaiNexus and everybody worked together to attain the goals of their customers. Customers’ goals become KaiNexus goals and a win for the customers was a win for KaiNexians.

As a Customer Success Manager at KaiNexus, I get to help customers grow and meet and exceed their own expectations. I am encouraged to actively partner with my customers, advocate for them, and be inquisitive about their needs to better understand how we can help them. KaiNexus is growing quickly and still maintains the value that we serve customers first. I am also pleasantly surprised by how much and how often others at KaiNexus will advocate for my customers alongside me and try to help them as much as possible with big and small things alike. Everyone works together for the good of our customers and truly believes in working together to obtain the best outcome for everybody.

I am lucky to have found my way to Continuous Improvement, where people and teams always want to better themselves. The past six months at KaiNexus have been full of opportunities to grow and be a part of a team that cares about their customers, and I can’t wait to see what’s coming next!
