Today, we’re excited to unveil our newest feature: KaiNexus Tips, or as we’ve come to call it, KaiNexTips. This innovative addition allows managers to reward employees with digital tips when they implement process improvements—just like leaving a tip for that exceptional service you enjoyed from your bartender, dogwalker, or… kiosk? Really, we’re tipping kiosks now? Maybe we’ve reached our limit on tipping…
… or maybe we haven’t??
A Fresh Take on Employee Recognition and Corporate Success
Continuous improvement is the cornerstone of success in any industry, and at KaiNexus, we believe that everyone should participate in the improvement process. Imagine an employee who identifies a critical bottleneck, devises a clever solution, and implements a change that boosts team efficiency. Instead of the standard “great job” or a quick email, managers can now use KaiNexTips to digitally thank and compensate employees for their efforts.
Intrinsic motivation is so passé... it's time for tipping! And here’s the twist: In most cases, the tip can be automatically calculated as a percentage of the improvement’s financial value to the organization. For example, if an improvement saves $32,000, you might tip 15%, 20%, or even 25%. Or a custom amount! The KaiNexTips platform’s sophisticated machine-learning algorithms accurately calculate what those payouts would be in each case. You just mashed the Easy button!
Since you have a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement, nobody would ever argue about the dollar value of an improvement — to reduce or boost the tip payout. Would that be a distraction? Never!

Employees don’t want pizza parties, trophies, or digital badges. A new research study from the global consulting firm McFlimsy says 87% of employees want cold, hard cash. Earlier research from the firm KMPDCA showed that 70% of Lean transformations fail, and approximately 56.723% fail because of a lack of employee rewards.
Once a tip is given, the employee’s KaiNexiCash digital wallet updates instantly. KaiNexiTips are pooled and shared among everyone who contributed to the improvement, ensuring that every team member benefits—rewarding and incentivizing teamwork!

We’ve also been experimenting with a KaiNexTips Automated Teller Monitor (or “KaiNexTips ATM” for short). That’s right, when you’ve outfitted your team with a KaiNexTips ATM on their desk, it dispenses their cash tips — with no fees!

Tip generously, and you might just speed up the prioritization of those must-have enhancements. Who knows? A little extra tip might be all it takes to get our developers working even faster on the next big update!
If our developers, who are proverbial superheroes and rockstars, were literal superheroes, these tips would be their kryptonite—um, wait… only in reverse, I guess it would empower them and power them up! We’re still working out the kinks on the features and our messaging.
