The autumn season brings new energy, and so does our latest release! We’re ready to help you kick off this season with a release designed to streamline your workflow and keep your projects on track. KaiNexus 3.2.7 is packed with enhancements that simplify everyday tasks, give you a clearer view of your data, and make presenting your work more fluid. From adding nested Items with fewer clicks to gaining a bird's-eye view of your projects, this release is all about helping you work smarter and more efficiently, just in time for the new season.

KaiNexus’ latest release, Release 3.2.7, is scheduled for Friday, September 12th.

Here are some of our favorite new features and enhancements from this release:

Create nested Items from a List

Ever feel like you're taking too many steps just to create a nested Item? We heard you. This new enhancement significantly streamlines your workflow by letting you create nested Items directly from an Item's Quick Edit menu in a List, which you can access with a right-click or by selecting the Item’s ellipsis icon.

This small but mighty change saves clicks and time, reduces friction, and helps you stay focused on your work. It's all about simplifying and streamlining your daily tasks.

Pin the Category or Date column while editing Charts

Editing Charts with numerous Data Series can be a pain when you lose sight of your category or date column. Now, you can pin the Category or Date column to keep it visible while scrolling. This enhancement means you can easily reference your data without constantly scrolling back and forth, making it quicker and easier to update your Charts.

Visualize an Item’s Top-Level Parent

When working on a multi-layered project, it's easy to lose sight of how individual tasks connect to the bigger initiative. Our new Top-Level Parent column for Item Lists provides a clear view of an Item's highest-level parent, no matter how deep it's nested. This gives you the context to quickly understand how each Item fits into your overall strategy, making it easier to manage complex projects and ensure everything stays aligned.

Tree view added to "by Location" Reports

When trying to understand how data moves through your organization, a flat list of Locations just doesn't cut it. Our "by Location" reports now include a Tree view, which organizes Locations according to your Network hierarchy. This new visual provides a clear, hierarchical view of your data, making it easier to see how metrics are distributed and rolled up across different Locations.

New presentation mode added to Items

Reviewing a project with your team can be clunky when you have to scroll through an entire Item. We've added a new presentation mode to Items, so you can now present them just like you would a Board. This allows you to select specific panels to highlight and move through them one at a time, creating a clean, focused, and streamlined presentation right inside the platform.
