Summer is almost here, and it’s already a hot one... and so is our latest 2.3.5 release with 64 new improvements!
Let’s take a look at some of the highlights:
Activity & Impact Goals
Gooooaaaallll!!! Introducing Activity Goals and Impact Goals. This new feature gives you the ability to set goals for improvement submissions and/or financial impact at any level of the organization and then visualize them through Reports. This can help increase long-term vision and short-term motivation to ensure the success of your improvement culture.
The functionality of this new feature is very similar to the Target Line that was once available on the Item Curve Report. With the introduction of Activity Goals and Impact Goals, we are removing the Target Line functionality from the Item Curve, so any previously set targets will no longer be displayed here. Instead, head over to the Network, where you'll be able to configure an Activity and/or Impact goal on any Location. Configuring an Activity Goal (Improvement Counts) will be visible on the Activity Over Time Report, while configuring an Impact Goal (Financial Impact) will be visible on the Impact Over Time Report.
On Time Report
Be on the lookout for an enhanced view of the Activity Over Time Report that shows items that have been (or are on track to be) completed on time. You can identify when and where work is consistently falling overdue to encourage the setting of more realistic due dates.
Voting Enhancements
We have a number of customers that follow Dr. Alan Robinson’s improvement methodology and his recommendations on voting for prioritization. We’ve gotten some great feedback on the new voting feature we released in our last release and have quickly turned around and added that feedback right into the product.
You’ll now have the ability to vote on items multiple times, the ability to see the number of votes in List/Tree View, and the ability to see who has and has not yet voted.
More Options for Styling Line Charts
New line width, and fill options have been added to Line Charts. Use color fills to help better illustrate charts and trends. This functionality will make your Line Charts look visually similar to the Item Curve Report.
Multi-Chart Importer
We know Charts are a favorite in KaiNexus for tracking your KPIs and wanted to give you a more efficient way to update your data. You now have the ability to update multiple charts with a single excel import. This can be enabled by Quality Administrators with a new system Role permission on Charts called “Multi Chart Import.”
